Fast-Growing Developing Environments In Ogun State

Ogun Stateis a vibrant Nigerian state that has experienced exponential growth in recent years. The cities in Ogun State are quite remarkable. Aside from its intriguing cities, the state is known for having the most registered (private) universities and other higher education institutions in Nigeria. It is also the only state in the nation to manage two state-owned universities. Additionally, Ogun State is home to Nigeria’s first and only university of education. Abeokuta

This is the capital and most developed area of Ogun State; social amenities abound, and  Abeokuta is a secure and friendly place to live. The “Gateway State” of Ogun has its capital city of Abeokuta. The biggest city and most developed region in Ogun State is Abeokuta.

It is a tourism center due to the existence of tourist attractions including Olumo Rock, Centenary Hall, Alake’s Palace, and others. It’s a vibrant location to live since it has many institutions. The city has a mild tropical climate and is situated in the eastern portion of Ogun State, 110 kilometers northeast of Lagos by road. It is also only 100 kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean. The esteemed Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, a state university in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria, is located in Ijebu.

Sango Ota

One of the fastest-growing developing environments and third-largest cities in Ogun State is Sango Ota. Sango Ota, the state’s industrial center, is also the most sought-after area to live in Ogun State. In terms of safety, Sango Ota is quite secure.

Sango is home to several significant factories in Ogun, including the Dangote Cement Factory, Nestle, Lafarge Cement Factory, and Unilever.

Mowe Ibafo

Sagamu

Makun, Offin Sonyindo, Epe, Ibido, Igbepa, Ado, Oko, Ipoji, Batoro, Ijoku, Latawa, and Ijagba are among the towns that make up this region. This is an industrial location with potential for financial gain. It also has a ton of intriguing locations where you can hang out and enjoy yourself with loved ones.

Ifo

Owode, Yewa

It serves as the local government’s capital, Ipokia. Famous natives of the town include the late Honorable Olufemi Isiaka Ajibade (former controller of the WAI Brigade of Nigeria), Chief Bolarinwa Yakubu Abioro (Balogun of Ipokia and former minority leader of the House of Assembly in the old western region), Late Ambassador Lamidi Maliki (former diplomat), and Ambassador Isiaka Adesola Abolurin (former diplomat and current Balogun of Ipokia).

Shimawa

Known for its peaceful surroundings and first-rate infrastructure, including strong road networks, schools, hospitals, and retail complexes, Shimawa is another fast-growing town in Ogun state, situated along the Lagos-Ibadan highway.

Arepo

One of the fast-growing cities in Ogun state that borders Lagos state is Arepo. A short drive from Lagos State’s capital, Arepo is mostly made up of residential areas with nice neighborhoods and business areas with shopping complexes, entertainment venues, Punch Newspapers, The Tribune, Opic Scheme, and many other establishments.

Magboro

The town of Magboro, in Ogun State, is expanding quickly and is situated along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. There have been a lot of developments in this region lately, including the emergence of contemporary housing complexes, commercial centers, and schools.
